  2. The Justice Department has launched a perjury probe against E. Jean Carroll, the woman who won millions in damages against Donald Trump in two civil suits, for sexual assault and defamation. In other corruption news, it was revealed that a White House official played a role in the Pentagon’s decision to loan $620 million to a company tied to the president’s son.
