The news can be overwhelming, but it can also inform, inspire, and focus our engagement. Let’s gird our loins and take a quick peek.

  1. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to eliminate a federal requirement for public input on data centers and other industrial facilities.

  2. The United States is deporting individuals who are not from Liberia to Liberia.

  3. The U.S. Postal Service has issued a new rule that would forbid the delivery of mail ballots from states not complying with the president’s executive order limiting their use.

Good News!

Encouraging developments don’t always make the headlines, But good news can provide us with hope and momentum, so let's take heart!

  1. The governor of Pennsylvania issued an executive order restricting data center development.

  2. One federal judge blocked a federal ban on issuing immigrant visas to people from 75 countries and a three-judge panel rejected the government’s request to stay an order requiring it to improve medical care and conditions at the Adelanto Immigration Detention Center.

  3. Department of Homeland Security claims that thousands of noncitizens are registered to vote remain unsubstantiated.
