  2. The National Institutes of Health has begun reviewing a backlog of research grant applications under a settlement agreement that requires NIH not to consider anti-DEI criteria.

  3. A federal court has ordered that funding be restored to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, an entity that protects consumers against unfair treatment by banks, and which the administration targeted for elimination.
