Encouraging developments don’t always make the headlines, But good news can provide us with hope and momentum, so let's take heart!
  1. The U.S Supreme Court declined to advance the president’s agenda twice this week, once in a vaccine case and once in a redistricting case.

  2. A federal judge blocked Ohio from enacting new proof of citizenship requirements for voters before the midterms. Meanwhile, 250 current and former lawmakers have joined 23 states, the District of Columbia, and civic groups in asking the Supreme Court not to lift a district court’s nationwide stay on implementing mail voting restrictions before the midterms.

  3. Opposition works! ICE has abandoned plans to convert warehouses in Georgia and Utah into detention centers. Other projects are stuck in limbo
