- The U.S. Supreme Court allowed Alabama to move forward with a congressional map previously held to be racially discriminatory.
- Thousands of federal employees including scientists, attorneys, analysts, and grant managers, have been stripped of their civil service protections, so that they can be more easily fired.
- Hundreds of ICE detainees across 33 states have reported disturbing stories of medical neglect.

- For the first time, the House of Representatives voted to approve a war powers resolution opposing U.S. military action in Iran and the Pentagon has appointed an inspector general to lead a legally required review of the war.
